The folding of the seabed when Greenland and Norway collided for 430 million years ago. The sea floor was tilted. Due to high pressure and temperature the sea floor was transformed to mica schist. Agents of erosion like water and ice have worn down the bedrock, and the mica schist is seen like grooves in the bedrock.
